Dr. Mohr and Dr. Ausderau were awarded a new R01 entitled “Early neural predictors and neuropathogenesis of sensorimotor neurodevelopmental deficits in macaque infants exposed to Zika virus in utero”. In this project, we will define the long-term neurodevelopment of Zika virus-exposed infant macaques, identify early neural predictors of deficits, and define neuropathogenesis using quantitative neuroanatomy. We are excited to begin this project!
